Hello From Spoon That! and company!

Hi there fellow World Wide Webbers!

This blog is designed for all those people who like to cook, like to eat, or just would like to learn something new! You will find here recipes from all over the world that can be enjoyed at home with the added satisfaction of making it yourself. You will find here simple recipes as well as more complex ones with clear precise instructions on how to prepare them. The recipes here are either my own or modified versions of classic recipes from various sources. There are some times that I will take a recipe word-for-word from the blogs I follow but will always attribute it to them. I always try to recreate a dish as soon as I come home from somewhere I enjoyed it while the flavours are still fresh on my palate, giving me satisfying results.

Cooking is a passion of mine. Because I enjoy it so much, it makes it that much easier for me to provide home cooked meals for my family everyday. In our busy lifestyles, whether it is to look after a small baby or working a full time job, trying to cook at home and eat healthy while economizing can be a real challenge. That is why I also have a section on my website, Outside the Kitchen where we will exchange tip and tricks about managing life while cooking at home, along with discussing other things such as spirituality, self image and motivation etc.

I also have a section on this web page Ingredients 101 that will discuss uncommon or unusual ingredients and their history and benefits for those who are not familiar with them. Along with this, also is a section called Food and You where I will be sharing articles and interesting facts about different foods and how they effect our daily lives.

Last but not least, as I am an advocate of anything natural, I will create a small section, Simple Home Remedies where I post simple homemade remedies to health problems such as colds and diarrhea and beauty problems such as skin discolourations and wrinkling.

I am always open to suggestions and new ideas about how to enrich your life with food. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will be happy to try my utmost to answer them.

Thanks And Happy Cooking!
