Chicken Pakora
These deep fried spheres of goodness will leave a yearning on your tongue that can only be satisfied by the next bite. The crispy outside, the soft inside and the flavours of ginger and green onion are a combination to die for!
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 egg
1 inch piece ginger minced
3 cloves garlic minced
3 stalks green onion chopped
2-3 green chillies chopped
3-4 tsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp mono sodium glutamate
1/2 lime
salt to taste
oil for frying
Method
1) Cover the chicken thighs with water and bring to a boil.
2) lower the heat to a medium and simmer for 20 minutes of until chicken is tender. Remove.
3) Heat oil in a small wok or deep pan on medium low.
4)In a food processor, grind the chicken.
5) In a separate bowl, combine chicken and everything else except lime. Mix well
6) Form golf ball sized balls out of the mixture and fry on a medium heat until crispy.
7) Serve with slices of lime.
